Therapy Practice

Therapist website design preview with a warm, welcoming, and natural look designed to help potential clients feel at ease.

The Challenge: A Website That Wasn’t Bringing in Enough Inquiries

This therapist already had a Squarespace website, but it wasn’t doing enough to support the growth of the practice.

Website traffic was low, inquiries were limited, and the overall design didn’t feel as polished or professional as they wanted. The goal wasn’t to start from scratch—it was to improve what was already there so prospective clients could more easily understand the practice, find the information they needed, and take the next step.

The priorities for the Website Refresh Intensive were clear: create a more professional website, improve SEO, and make the site better at turning visitors into inquiries.

The Refresh: A More Professional, User-Friendly Therapy Website

For the design refresh, I focused on making the website feel polished and approachable while keeping the experience simple for potential therapy clients.

The initial refresh included the Home, About, Services, and Contact pages. I improved the layout and organization of the content, made it easier for visitors to navigate the site, and ensured the design worked well across desktop and mobile.

The client’s response to the updated design?

“Everything looks great! I love it!”

Because privacy is especially important for therapy practices, the website also included a HIPAA-compliant solution for prospective clients to get in touch.

Building on the SEO Foundation

The initial redesign gave the practice a stronger foundation, but we didn’t stop there.

After the refresh, I created additional specialty pages to target the specific therapy services potential clients were searching for. Instead of trying to make one general Services page rank for everything the therapist offered, these pages gave us more space to answer questions about individual specialties and target more specific search terms.

It also gave prospective clients a clearer path to find information that matched what they were actually looking for—which matters just as much as getting them to the website in the first place.

The Results: A Website That Feels More Professional and Easier to Use

The refreshed Squarespace website now gives the practice a more professional online presence with a clearer experience for potential clients and a stronger SEO foundation to build on.

The client shared: “I highly recommend Samantha! She polished my website and made it more user friendly. I appreciated her organized style, punctuality and efficiency. She provided feedback and support in areas I was stuck and was also receptive to my feedback. My website looks fantastic!”

And because SEO isn’t a one-and-done checkbox, the additional specialty pages give the practice more opportunities to show up for relevant searches as the site continues to grow.

Ready to Improve Your Therapy Website?

Your website doesn’t necessarily need to be completely rebuilt to work better. If your therapy website feels outdated, isn’t bringing in enough inquiries, or doesn’t make it easy for potential clients to understand how you can help, a Website Refresh Intensive can help you improve the design, user experience, and SEO without starting over.
