The Challenge: A Stale, Unresponsive Website That Didn’t Reflect the Practice

When Dr. Ashley Pfaff, owner of Dr. Ashley Family Chiropractic, reached out for a full website redesign, her business was growing—but her website wasn’t keeping up.

The WordPress site she had was hard to update, expensive to maintain, and the developer she relied on had gone silent.

“Needed an updated website after hiring an associate Dr. Current web designer/host is not meeting our needs — very MIA.”

Beyond the tech frustrations, the website simply didn’t reflect what made her practice unique. With a new associate on board and a highly specialized focus on pregnancy, postpartum, and pediatric care, it was time to build a site that showcased the full depth of services and aligned with her brand.

“I would like a total REFRESH!”

The Goal: A Brand-Aligned Website Built for Control, SEO, and Client Growth

Dr. Ashley’s goals for her One-Week Website Design were crystal clear:

  • Build a modern, professional site that reflects her growing team

  • Shift to Squarespace so her team has full control over updates

  • Create clear, easy-to-navigate pages for pregnancy, postpartum, infants, and pediatric care

  • Fully optimize SEO, keyword tracking, and analytics from day one

  • Highlight her specialized focus as the go-to practice for pregnancy care in her area

“Pregnancy Care is my absolute focus and what I am really good at and want my schedule filled with.”

The Process: Building a Fully Custom Chiropractic Website in 5 Days

1. Prep: Refining Brand + Client Experience

We used her existing Canva brand assets as a foundation and expanded them into a full, web-accessible color palette that felt modern, elevated, and approachable — while still fitting the natural, nurturing tone of her work.

She wanted simple, clean layouts with arched images, easy-to-read fonts, and plenty of white space for a light, professional feel.

“I TRUST YOU on the color palette... I AM NOT the expert in websites and what flows for what I am trying to accomplish with this site.”

2. Propose: First Look and Client Collaboration

When she saw the homepage mockup, she immediately saw her vision coming together — with just a few minor adjustments requested for the color balance:

“Love the feel of that. Logo's; Icons; Fonts look great.”

We shifted to feature more blue as the dominant tone, using pink only as a soft accent to keep the site aligned with her ideal client base without feeling overly feminine.

“Overall, I really do like the look and feel of this website, colors included :) This is exciting!!”

3. Produce: Building a Complete SEO-Optimized Site

The final site included fully customized pages for every core service:

  • Home

  • About

  • Contact

  • FAQs

  • Individual pages for:

    • Pregnancy Care

    • Postpartum Care

    • Infant Chiropractic

    • Pediatric Chiropractic

    • Craniosacral Therapy (CST)

We also:

  • Imported and formatted blog content from her old site

  • Integrated her contact form for easy appointment requests

  • Simplified navigation to guide visitors toward the most important services

4. Perfect: SEO Setup and Google Integration

SEO wasn’t an afterthought—it was built into every step:

  • In-depth keyword research specific to pregnancy, postpartum, and pediatric chiropractic

  • Optimized SEO titles and meta descriptions for every page and post

  • Compressed and renamed all images with keyword-rich file names

  • Cleaned up URL structures and set up redirects from the old site

  • Installed Google Analytics, Search Console, and 6 months of keyword tracking to monitor performance post-launch

5. Propel: Training and Post-Launch Support

After launch, Dr. Ashley received:

  • Full access to my tutorial library to manage and update her own site

  • 30 days of post-launch support

  • A website fully equipped to support her practice as it continues to grow

The Results: Higher Rankings, More Website Traffic, and 32 New Patient Requests

In just the first 30 days post-launch, the new site delivered exactly what the practice needed:

  • Ranking in the top 3 for 20 local keywords

  • Ranking for 40 keywords total

  • 1172 pageviews in 30 days

  • Bounce rate of 65.88% (healthy for local services)

  • 32 form submissions for new appointments in 30 days

  • 215 total form views = 15% conversion rate

  • 26.6% of traffic from search — organic traffic they weren’t getting before

This is what happens when design, SEO, and strategy work together — not just a “pretty” website, but one that brings real, measurable growth for the practice.

“Love where this is going!”
