My Approach
I leveraged my unique one-week Website Design VIP process to transform Abigail's online presence. Throughout the project, Abigail provided invaluable feedback and insights into her business, allowing me to tailor the design to her specific needs.
The Process
Website Strategy:
In the initial phase, I collaborated with Abigail to develop a comprehensive website strategy for her Squarespace website. She received a Strategy Guide containing a design mood board, website color palette, font selections, and a sitemap. This step ensured that the design would reflect her vision and the essence of her legal consulting business.
Website Design:
During Days 2-3, I worked behind the scenes to translate the website strategy into a breathtaking design. Abigail received a fully developed mockup of her website homepage, which included images and copy. This was a pivotal moment in the project and a client favorite.
Website Development:
With Abigail's feedback on the mockup, I moved on to the Website Development phase. Here, I built out all four pages of the design, as well as a blog, using Squarespace. This encompassed mobile design and thorough testing to guarantee seamless functionality.
Perfect:
As the Website Development phase neared completion, I took care of essential details, including basic keyword research and SEO implementation, to enhance Abigail's marketing efforts. Connections to newsletters and schedulers were established, ensuring that her small local business had the tools for effective marketing.
Propel:
Upon finalizing the website and completing the VIP Experience process, I provided Abigail with tutorial videos specific to her site's design elements, backups of CSS and style settings used, and access to an extensive video tutorial library. My aim was to empower her to confidently manage her online presence.
Additional Aspects:
I designed and developed a 4-page website design that accurately reflected ADH Consulting's services.
A blog design and the transfer of existing posts allowed Abigail to share her legal consulting expertise effectively.
I created a bank of stock images to add visual appeal to the website.
Abigail received 30 days of support for edits and questions to ensure a seamless transition.
A comprehensive website content guide was provided to assist with writing website copy.
